How do i upgrade FlickUrPic Pro component to the latest version?
Upload the files of the new version via FTP into the following directories:
/administrator/components/com_flickurpicpro/
/components/com_flickurpicpro/
(admin.flickrpro.php and flickrpro.xml go in the administrator/components/com_flickurpicpro folder and the rest in the components/com_flickurpicpro folder)
!!! Please double check that your FTP client is set to BINARY mode and not ASCII when you upload !!!

I get ../administrator/components/com_flickurpicpro/admin.flickurpicpro.php has expired or is corrupt
This is because your FTP client has uploaded your files in ASCII mode. You need to change it to BINARY mode

Can I use the Pro and the Lite packages simultaneously?
Yes.

Where do i change/set the settings for FlickUrPic?
The component is used by creating a new menu item based on a component. You go to the main menu and add a new menu item as a component. While you are in there you choose FlickUrPic as you component and save it. Once it's saved you go back into your newly created menu item and there you can add and edit your settings.

Can I use the component more than once within the same installation of Joomla?
Yes.

Is the component compatible with Joomla 1.5?
Yes.

Is the module compatible with Joomla 1.5?
Yes.

Is the module compatible with Mambo?
No.

I can't see any images
Check that you don't have the option "Hide my profile from searches?" in your Flickr profile enabled. If it is please try unchecking it

Can i get personal support from you?
Not at this time. You buy the product as is.

I get the error message:
Error: Invalid Archives
Error: Invalid Favorites
Error: Invalid Sets

There are a couple of things you can check before you contact support
1. Check if you can see your images on the flickr website. Try to go to www.flickr.com/photos/yourusername. If you can't see your pictures FlickUrPic can't see them

2. Check to see if you are using the right flickr username, you are not to use your Yahoo username.
Your username is NOT your Flickr/yahoo log in (e.g. This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ). It is literally the public username visible on your Flickr page. When you are logged in to Flickr, it will say "logged in as: [username]" at the top of the screen. This is the username you need to provide to FlickUrPic. Without it, you will receive the errors above regarding the Flickr API not recognizing the user.

3. Check to see if you have any images actually uploaded to flickr

4. Check to see if you have all pictures set to "private" in flickr. These won't be showed in the demo version

5. Check the spelling of username, key and secret to see that its correct and no blank spaces anywhere.

If all else fails please contact support. Please inform us that you have tried all ideas from our FAQ site. This will expedite us in helping you.

I get "The image is not available at the moment"
This is not a FlickUrPic error. This is a common problem with the Flickr API. Flickr doesn't allow multiple image requests or too many requests. We can't fix this since it's a "problem" with Flickr.

What is ionCube?
ionCube is a PHP Script Encoder that is used to protect the source code from illegal modifications.
Your server will need to have this installed for FlickUrPic to work. Please check with your hosting provider before you start downloading the below files.
Most hosts have ionCube installed allready.

What is an ionCube Loader file?
An ionCube Loader file is required to read the PHP Scripts that are encoded with the ionCube PHP Script Encoder.

What is the token?
The token is for use with the Pro version only. It is what you use to gain access to your private images over at Flickr. The token cannot be used with the demo version.

Can i get rid of "This product uses the Flickr API but is not endorsed or certified by Flickr"
No! Its a requirement for using the Flickr API

My FlickUrPic Pro says my domain is not registered!
You need to register your domain with us. Please send an email to support at flickurpic dot com and tell us what domain you have installed FlickUrPic Pro on.

Do keep in mind
Free Flickr accounts have a 100MB bandwidth limit per month. This is not a restriction of FlickUrPic and nothing we can do anything about. If you would like more you can buy a Pro account at Flickr.

Flickr has a 200 picture limit imposed on their free accounts. This is not a FlickUrPic limitation and nothing we can do anything about. If you would like to display more pictures you need to buy a Flickr Pro account.
